We are not attracting defeated BJP candidates. There is a rift, resentment is being created
There is a lot of discontent in the BJP. I don't know when it will explode. We are not attracting defeated BJP candidates. Jagdish Shettar, a member of the new Vidhan Parishad, said that there is a rift and dissatisfaction.
He said that BJP is not able to tolerate rents because they are favorable to poor people.
Jagdish Shettar lashed out at the Center for refusing to buy Karnataka rice through the Food Corporation of India (FCI), accusing it of an unforgivable crime. It is not right that the central government is doing politics without providing rice for Annabhagya Yojana. He said that no one should do such an act regarding the food of the poor.
Congress has announced in its manifesto that it will give 10 kg of rice to the poor, should we have taken the order of the center first and made the announcement as per BJP's statement? Shettar said that this is not the right move for the union system.
At first they promised to give rice but now they are refusing it for political reasons. He demanded that the central government should provide surplus rice to the state. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is holding a meeting to discuss this in the background of the central government's refusal to provide rice to the state.
The Congress party is demanding rice from the center under the constitutional and federal system. Nothing is asking for it for free. He questioned to what extent it is right to do politics without giving rice even if we give money.
The central government procures foodgrains from various states under the minimum support price and procures them under FCI. He said, "We are asking for the rice collected in this way, otherwise the central government should give the power of grain collection to the respective states."
I will discuss the burning issues of North Karnataka in the Legislative Council. Many development works in this area have fallen into disrepair, I will discuss with the concerned minister to solve them as soon as possible. There are different chapters in politics, this is my new chapter, the second innings.
I have already discussed with our party leaders in view of the Lok Sabha elections. I am ready to give any responsibility to the party in the Lok Sabha elections. I will give my time wherever you travel. I will try to win a large number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Our party has said that we will use you in this election.
